What’s our favorite thing about Valentine’s Day? The whole holiday revolves around cards. Think about it, you’ve probably been swapping heart- (and Ninja Turtle-) shaped notes since kindergarten, are we right? So why not continue the tradition in the sweetest, chicest, most aw-evoking way possible?
Enter Sugar Paper. Started in 2003 by two letterpress-loving graphic designers, this L.A.-based company has gotten rave reviews from every mag from Vogue to Martha Stewart Weddings to Domino (RIP). And it’s no wonder. These to-die cards are like whole presents in themselves, each one printed by hand on an antique letterpress. And those gorge lined envelopes? Be still our pattern-loving hearts.
We were jonesing Sugar Paper so much (can you tell?) that we decided to put together a love-themed 5-card set just for R29ers. And while Valentine’s Day is conveniently just around the corner, these adorably messaged cards work all year-round… because love isn’t just about one day, folks. You heard it here first.
